Yogurt Streusel Cake

  • Butter                                   ¾ cup
  • Sugar                                     1-½ cups
  • Eggs                                       3 pc
  • Vanilla essence                   1-½ tbsp
  • Plain yogurt                        1-¼ cups
  • Flour                                     2- ½ cups
  • Corn flour                            1 tbsp
  • Baking powder                   2 tbsp
  • Baking soda                        ½ tbsp
  • Salt                                       ½ tbsp

For The Streusel

  • Brown sugar                       1/3 cup
  • Flour                                     2/3 cup
  • Cinnamon                           1 ½ tbsp
  • Salt                                       1/3 tbsp
  • Butter(cold)                       4 tbsp

For  Cream Cheese Glaze:

  • Cream cheese (softened)           3 oz
  • Butter                                           2tbsp
  • Icing sugar                                  2/3 cups
  • Vanilla essence                          ¼ tbsp
  • Milk                                              3tbsp


Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.Add the eggs 1 at a time, then add the vanilla essence and yogurt. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt. Add the flour mixture to the batter and combine.For the streusel, place the brown sugar, flour, cinnamin, salt and butter in a bowl and mix together with your fingers until ot forms a crumble. Spoon half the better in a greased and well-floured Bundt pan, spread it out, and scatter the remaining streusel on top, bake at 180C for about 40—50 minutes until a cake tester comes out clean. Let cool on a wire rack. Carefully together until smooth, Slowly beat in the icing sugar, Add the vanila essence and milk beat until smooth and until you have a glaze consistency,Drizzle cream cheese glaze iver cooled cake and serve
